Virtual Studio Manager (VSM)

Virtual Studio Manager (VSM) is a broadcast control system from Lawo which provides control and workflow solutions. VSM is a solution composed of several individual software components:

• vsmStudio is the core broadcast control component of VSM. It provides the core logic, routing, tally, label, and GPIO engine for signal paths and panels.
• vsmSOUL (Seamless Orchestration and Unification Layer) is VSM’s IP orchestration and routing layer, providing a unified view across all IP and baseband signals in the system.
• vsmGadgetServer.NET is a server that acts as a protocol translator between vsmStudio and many third-party protocols.
• vSNMP is a server that acts as a protocol translator between vsmStudio and the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP).
• vsmPanel is a software-based operator panel for VSM.
