Standard Dynamic Range (SDR) video refers to a set of standards for color gamut, electro-optical and opto-electrical transfer-functions, and color space, developed around the characteristics and limitations in the dynamic range and other aspects of Cathode Ray Tube Television sets. Contrast with High Dynamic Range (HDR).
